Galveston County Health District (GCHD) today announces 22 additional positive COVID-19 cases in Galveston County residents. This brings the county’s case total to 92.
To date, 1,063 Galveston County residents have been tested. This number does not include Galveston County residents who may have been tested outside the county.
Beginning today, GCHD is changing the way it reports COVID-19 cases. Below is a case summary. If you visit https://www.gchd.org/about-us/news-and-events/coronavirus-disease-2019-covid-19/galveston-county-confirmed-covid-19-cases you’ll find a breakdown of all cases including information on total recovered, total hospitalized, total quarantined and case counts by city, as well as additional information. This graphic will be updated daily at 5 p.m.
