Ordinance Revision Proposals

When an Ordinance is identified for proposed revision, the following general process is followed:
  • City Staff will develop a draft of the requested changes
  • At the FIRST Council meeting of the month, the proposed changes will be discussed at a workshop and a public hearing will be held as part of the Council meeting.
  • At the SECOND Council meeting of the month, the proposed Ordinance will be presented to Council for the FIRST reading.
  • The required SECOND reading of the proposed ordinance will be held as part of the first Council meeting of the next month.
